Quality characteristics ATF (AT = Autotex; F=fine) and ATV (AT = Autotex; V = velvet) are based on biaxially-oriented polyester film, which means that they offer improved resistance to solvents; they also boast anti-microbacterial properties and are stronger and more durable than other materials that are commonly used for membrane keyboards/keypads and front panels (such as polycarbonate and PVC). As with all polyester-based films, ATF and ATV are not suitable for prolonged exposure to direct sunlight. The product can be adversely affected by sunlight shining through the window. If you need a film that has to be UV resistant from the outset, we will make sure we use an XE material.
