Sales engineers (m/f) for the UK

Working from your home office (which will ideally be located centrally within the sales territory), you will be a valuable addition to our field-based sales team. Your role will involve advising our customers during the design phase, preparing quotes and assuming personal responsibility for seeing projects and series through to completion without any hitches. Your social skills and technical expertise will enable you to gain access to people, projects and organisations. You will be able to put your sector-specific and product-specific knowledge to good use.

Duties:
- Customer support and canvassing
- Providing advice for and selling custom-made membrane keyboards/keypads, front panels, front foils, special enclosures and system solutions. Against the backdrop of the entire product range, you will determine customer requirements and come up with the required solution in conjunction with the engineering department.
- Market surveillance and expansion of the sales territory
- Participation at trade fairs and events
- Route planning and reporting



Education/training:
- An engineering degree (mechatronics, electrical engineering, automation, mechanical engineering)
- Technical/commercial vocational training is desirable



Knowledge and experience:
- Demonstrable experience in technical sales and marketing
- Knowledge of the product area
- No restrictions in terms of a willingness to travel and move around
- Relevant PC skills
